Installation
BEFORE you plug in your PICstick:
- Please ensure that you have a reliable internet connection. (This is required for a successful registration. Broadband is recommended, though not essential).
- Turn off any anti-virus software.
- Close any other programmes or applications that may be running
- Remove any other USB storage devices.
NOW INSERT YOUR PICSTICK INTO ANY USB PORT.
This window will appear on your screen.
- Choose the first option ‘Install the PICstick Application’ and click ‘OK’.
(On certain PCs, this window may not appear automatically. If it does not appear, simply open ‘My Computer’ and select PICstick from the disk drive icons. Double click on the icon to open it and then double click the Setup file which will start the installation.)
The installation begins with this screen.
- Click the ‘Next’ button to continue.
You will now be asked to read the End User License Agreement. (You must agree to these terms before your PICstick can be installed.)
- Click the option I accept the agreement
- Now simply click on the Next button to continue.
- Click the Install button and the Installation will begin to copy files to your computer.
Your PICstick will take a few minutes to install. You can watch the blue progress bar on the screen.
When the blue bar has reached the end, click the Finish button
YOUR PICstick HAS NOW BEEN INSTALLED!
