Setting security levels
The SECURITY LEVEL screen allows you to choose the level of protection that your PICstick will provide. You can choose from:
- no restrictions
- low
- medium
- high
- PC locked
- Custom
(A detailed explanation of the protection settings can be read by clicking on each level using the slider control onscreen.)
When first installed, the PICstick will be set to Medium protection. If you simply click on the green FINISH button, this default setting (medium) will be applied.
YOUR PICSTICK IS NOW FULLY ACTIVE AND IS ABLE TO LOG ALL COMPUTER ACTIVITY. Your children are fully protected!
Setting custom security levels
If you do wish to customise your PICstick you should first select the desired protection level before clicking on the NEXT button.
The following screens will then allow you to customise
- internet settings
- applications and programmes
- chat/privacy settings
- e-mail settings.
